Some right fucktards on here. Thought we were superb in the 2nd half and unlucky not to win yet just a load of moabibg on here. We were in a relegation scrap 8 weeks ago and we're looking half decent now. Not sure what people want

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 1-1
The lack of a right back and a decent striker have been glaring omissions all season.
Whatever way you look at it we only picked up one point out of a possible six against a rank ordinary side.
Just not good enough West Ham and Bilic if you were at Leicester you'd have picked up you're p45 at Christmas.

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 1-1
Kouyate is a good player, but he is struggling with right back, 2 games, 2 errors and 2 goals. Today it was harsh, but cannot really complain much, Kouyate was running faster focused for the ball and zarate got in his way and they both fell over...

Antonio clearly reached out for and handled the ball to get his second yellow. Why did he do that? There was no need to do that?

What no striker?

It does not take Einstein to figure it out, big mistake not getting a decent Striker, Carroll cannot be trusted to stay fit .

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 1-1
If we could ever have Carroll and Sahko fit for 5 mins we could get the balance right. Antonio isn't a centre forward or Kouyate a right back.
Carroll (or Sahko) in the middle, Antonio on the right and Byram at right back.
It's March next week and Sahko still hasn't played at the London Stadium and Carroll has been out for a month with a 'sore groin'.

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 1-1
We were by far the better team and a lot of the reason was Watford scoring then trying to hold on to a 1 - 0 for 75 minutes.
Antonio the most effective player on the pitch.
Kouyate cannot platform rb as he is continually in the wrong position.
Lanzini impact in the second half was the difference. He can do it for 30 minutes against a poor, disorganised Watford team but can he do it against higher quality opposition? Hmm.....
Noblan non existent again, it is getting embarrassing.
We play a way to slow game.

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 1-1
That we had an actual RB on the bench is rank stupidity from Bilic. Kouyate aint no defender.

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 1-1
After every game we come back on here and blame the ref if things have not gone our way
Well that happens for every team every week, but home or away fans wiil see it different,
In most instances If your team are good enough you will win the game regardless of decisions going
against you, today we were poor first half, if you are going to play kouyate it has to be part of
3 at the back or midfield, people keep saying we need a r/back, we have 2. byram on the bench
And arbeloa has disappeared.
We keep starting lanzini on the left wing when we know he is better in the middle, antonio as striker
When he is better on the right wing, but Bilic has to make room for his favourites so players are out
Of the positions and the team are disjointed.

Yet another giveaway goal conceded from our weak RB area

Yet another game without a decent striker

This game was there to be won & we thoroughly deserved at least a point, if not all three for the 2nd half performance alone

The referee was poor, as is usual for our games. He allowed Watford to get away unpunished for all sorts of thuggery & diving, yet penalised our players for the most inocuous challenges

We should have been awarded at least 2 penalties & I'm still not convinced as to why Antonio got red-carded

It was a dour boring encounter

Watford are awful. It's bad that anti football sides like that stick around in the league.

The ref was today's key man which is never good.

Lily Hammer 10:18 Sat Feb 25
Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 1-1
The only real criticiism of our lot today was Kouyate being a bit clumsy and giving away the penalty. It was a penalty, by the letter of the law.

I thought the ref wasn't so bad for most of the match, but his big miss, though it was snidey, was Kouyate, ironically enough, should have had a penalty, 100% nailed on, when the defender had his arm around his neck, then around his body, and dragged him down when he was winning the race to square to Snodgrass for what would probably have been a goal. I say snidey, because it was the blind side of the ref, but the lino had no excuse for missing it.

Good fight by West Ham to rescue a point against a very unadventurous Watford.

Gutted that Antonio will miss Chelsea, but he did it to himself.

Just heard a Watford fan moaning about our supporters on the radio, his kids heard some swearing.

Same moaning happened after the home game against them.

And we moved up to 9h place. Back down to 10th if stoke beat spurs tomorrow, mind.

Difficult to know what to wish for there! I think a draw puts Stoke back above us.

We are currently a team with no end product. Given Watford were at home I thought they were pretty poor. Point away is decent for a team like us though.

4 points missed over two games.

Don't know how much more obvious it can be that we need a striker and a right back.

Lanzini was brilliant second half, so was Obiang. Best I've seen from Ayew so far.

Watford are a shitty, boring niggly team.
